If you've taken notice to my blog names, you might be wondering, whats with the rainbow names?
My love for rainbows comes from more than just my inability to pick a favorite color. I love what the rainbow symbols, its a promise. A promise from our Creator.
So the Painter took His brush and painted the sky the colors of His promise. [My own personal paraphrase of Genesis 9]
Really though, how great is our God? He could have choose/made anything for His promise sign- a special star, a new breed of tree, etc. But He created something so beautiful, something everyone would stop and awe at even after the chaos of a storm.
So, yes, I do tend to love rainbows.
Also, a more personal update- I've decide to read the whole bible start to finish, at my own pace though. I'm hoping at the end of it I'll have gained a better understanding of the Word. So far I've got to 1 Samuel.
